You want to help. We make it easy.

Make a difference for child, youth and family mental health in Alberta by hosting a community fundraiser and donating the proceeds to CASA Mental Health.

Fundraising for CASA is easy. Find everything you need on this page and get personalized guidance and professional advice from CASA team members.

Anyone can do it!

Anyone can hold a community fundraiser, from grade school children selling crafts, to a group of employees choosing CASA as their charity of choice for an event or initiative.

Community fundraising can be as simple as asking for donations at an event you’re hosting, organizing a bottle drive in your community or donating a portion of the proceeds from registration or sales of a particular item. Best of all, community fundraising allows for plenty of creativity.

Whether you raise $100 or $1,000 for CASA, every dollar makes a difference.

Why Choose CASA?

Alberta kids need mental health care more than ever.

Every hour of every day, families in small towns and big cities across Alberta are struggling to learn about and get the right mental health support for their kids. Too often there are no clear choices on where and when to seek out care between a family’s coping strategies at home and the care of a hospital.

Our work is more critical than ever. Statistics Canada data from 2022 shows that twice as many kids aged 15 and older had generalized anxiety compared with 10 years earlier.1 The same study found more than one in three Canadians with a mood, anxiety or substance abuse issue either didn’t get the mental health treatment they needed, or only partly got it.

CASA Mental Health fills the gap in service between community, home and hospital. CASA’s programs wrap care around the entire family to ensure kids and youth receive the treatment they need to thrive.

When you support CASA with your community fundraiser, together we can ensure more kids and families get the right services, closer to where they live, learn, work and play.
