Mental illness affects around 1.2 million Canadian children and youth. By age 25, that number rises to 7.5 million (about one in five Canadians). These are not just statistics – they are our loved ones, friends and neighbours.
With your support, our unique and promising model of mental health care can reach more children facing mental illness. Together, let’s level up for kids’ mental health!
How Your Gift Will Help
- Area of greatest need: Help us expand our ability to adapt to the changing needs of kids and families.
- Culturally-safe spaces, online and in-school care, peer support for parents and more.
- Enhanced virtual care, including a “tech library” where families can borrow tablets to receive virtual care.
- Training, research and fellowships.
- Indigenous services, community research, cultural events, as well as cultural care and equity, diversity and inclusion training for staff.
