Steps closer to more mental health care for families in Calgary.

CASA Mental Health is building a new CASA House facility in Calgary that will serve youth up to 81 youth each year with both day and live-in programming. CASA House is a live-in program for teens who need support with significant mental health and/or addiction challenges, while the Adolescent Day Program sees youth attending daily during the school year, with the aim of improving the social and learning skills of youth with serious mental health and/or addiction challenges. Co-locating CASA House and the day treatment programs in the new facilities allows for a seamless continuum of care, where patients can transition to and from the two programs without disruption.

Construction on the new CASA House began in spring 2026 and will continue until fall 2027, when the building will open and preparations will begin for new patients in early 2028. The two-floor, 35,000-square-foot facility will be located in the District at Stoney, near Deerfoot Trail and Country Hill Boulevard NE.
