We all know getting outside and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine is good for us, but any kind of activity, whether inside or outside, is great for kids – and especially beneficial for their mental health and brain development. Kirsten Robertson, a recreational therapist with CASA Mental Health, and Tanya Kendall, director of CASA House and Day Programs, chatted with Global News Morning Edmonton about the importance of staying active.
