Emily’s Memorial Horse Show

Rick and Stephanie Taylor started the Emily Taylor Legacy Project in honour of their daughter Emily who tragically lost her battle with depression at just 17 years old.

From 2016 until 2022, the Taylors organized Emily’s Memorial Motorcycle Ride, which raised more than $110,000 for CASA. Emily’s Memorial Horse Show began in 2019 to honour Emily’s love of horses and has raised more than $40,000 for CASA House recreational programs, equine therapy program and other CASA initiatives. The horse show brings people together from across Alberta to support mental health care for children, youth and families.
