The Trauma Clinic uses a trauma-informed approach to treat children affected by attachment disorders and/or complex developmental trauma.

What happens in this program?

Children and caregivers will take part in individual therapy sessions. The trauma therapist will support children to resolve trauma symptoms through healthy attachment to their caregivers. The therapist may recommend the family participate in a trauma and attachment group.

Who is this program for?

This program is for children and youth ages five to 17 who have challenges associated with trauma and/or attachment concerns. Patients should be living in a safe, secure home for a minimum of six months. Caregivers should be able to commit to attending therapy with their child.
