The family and care team work together to support the child’s social, emotional, academic and physical development. The program works to strengthen the family’s ability to support their child by promoting parent confidence.
Children attend the program two full days a week during the school year.
The program is for children ages four and five who are experiencing severe challenges managing their emotions and behaviour. They may also have challenges in development, executive functioning or learning.
Referrals can be made by a health professional such as a psychiatrist or therapist. The child must have a pediatrician or family physician.
