CASA Mental Health has launched its first CASA Classrooms. The program offers intensive clinical intervention and individualized programming in classroom settings to address the need for mental health services closer to students.
CASA Clinical Director Dena Pedersen joined Global News Morning Edmonton to talk about CASA Classrooms and how they’ll make an impact for kids and families in Alberta.
CASA Classrooms are a partnership between CASA Mental Health, the Government of Alberta, participating school divisions and other community partners.
Watch CASA on Global News Morning Edmonton at 7:20 on the first Thursday of every month. Each “Your Mental Health” segment features a specialist from CASA talking about relevant mental health topics to children and families in our community.
