Dear CASA Supporter,

Over the past week, Canadians have continued to adapt to our changing environment and we want to touch base with our community supporters.

We are passionately protecting the CASA community during this crisis and doing everything we can to prevent the spread amongst those we serve.

This is what we are doing to support our community and prevent the spread:

  • We convened a COVID-19 Emergency Response Team which meets daily to ensure we are acting in the best interest of staff, physicians, patients and their families, and the larger community.
  • We closed all of our day programs and residential program until further notice. Program staff are in regular phone contact with families.
  • We are offering telephone support to parents through our Parent-in-Residence program.
  • We moved Clinic-based services to phone-based where possible to increase social distancing and seeing families who need face-to-face support.
  • We put group treatment sessions on hold.
  • We are ensuring that our children and their families have the resources and supports they require to best support their mental health needs.

Your support has helped CASA serve our patients and their families during this unpredictable time.
